As remote work continues to grow in both popularity and necessity in the modern workplace, businesses of all sizes are searching for new and innovative ways to engage their hybrid teams.
With this growing need, Microsoft Middle East took charge by sponsoring another BeMyApp hackathon that would challenge participants to develop app concepts that would transform productivity in hybrid work environments using Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Teams App Template, PowerApps and Graph API.
Nearly 400 uniquely registered participants took part, collaborating with Microsoft mentors, attending live webinars and tackling one of the following proposed challenges;
- Effective Internal Communications
- Crisis Management including Hybrid Work Facilities Management
- Customized Add-Ons for Microsoft Teams Meetings & Live Events
Exceptionally creative projects were submitted on the BeMyApp platform, specially customised for the Hackathon submissions. A special congratulations to the following teams who took home the top prizes:
1st Place: Laterbot represented by Pavel Kaminsky, Julie Kaminsky

Thanks to our determined and resourceful participants, prototypes using Microsoft technologies will make remote work, where in-office and remote teams collaborate seamlessly with one another, smoother than ever!
